NxtGen is an emerging supplier of syngas aftertreatment systems with products that are sold to retrofit emission system manufacturers, Tier 1 system integrators and diesel engine manufacturers. Our mission is "Syngas on every power unit." All our employees work at NxtGen to make a meaningful contribution by reducing the powertrain's impact on the environment through advances in chemical and mechanical engineering and to build a commercially successful business.

Founded in 2004 by former employees of Ballard Power Systems (TSE: BLD) and QuestAir Technologies (TSE: QAR), NxtGen Emission Controls offers the diesel industry innovative clean diesel technology that balances environmental needs with new economic realities and enables the industry to build clean diesel trucks, vehicles and equipment for the 21st century.

NxtGen is privately held by its employees, management and private equity investors. Our Technology team has over 130 person-years of experience in hydrocarbon fuel processing and the control of components and associated systems. Our management team has over 80 years experience in the diesel industry. Our technology has been validated in engine test cells using industry standard test cycles and protocols, and is now on the road for field trials in commercial diesel trucks.

NxtGen has a Technology Center located in Burnaby, British Columbia. We are expanding our operations and will open a Manufacturing and Applications Engineering Center in the Detroit vicinity in Q1 2008.
We are moving forward with product commercialization starting with retrofit aftertreatment systems. We are also developing components and systems for original equipment applications. Syngas Generator Evaluation Units and application engineering services to facilitate product development are available now.
